Live Smoke-Free

Clear the Smoke Encourages YOU to live smoke-free.

Living smoke-free can mean something different to each individual. Whether you are a smoker, non-smoker, parent, aunty, uncle, cousin, sibling or friend there IS a way to clear the smoke from your life.

All you have to do is make a personal choice — a commitment to yourself and your health that you will enjoy a smoke-free lifestyle.

Here are a few choices you could make:

  • Quit smoking. For support from dedicated Quit Coaches call The Hawaii Tobacco Quitline at 1-800-QUIT-NOW.
  • Declare your home or car smoke-free
  • Get involved in a local anti-tobacco organization such as the Coalition for Tobacco-Free Hawaii or The American Cancer Society
  • Sign-up for a cigarette butt beach clean-up
  • Ask a loved one to quit smoking, and guide them through the process

In Hawaii, tobacco use kills more than 1,200 people and costs $336 million in health care costs. Don?t wait until it?s too late to make a difference — spread the word about clearing the smoke to your family and friends — Hawaii deserves to be a smoke-free paradise.
