The images below were collected from everyday folks – smokers and non-smokers – throughout Hawaii. They were asked to photograph how tobacco affected their lives, the lives of their loved ones, or their community. These photos were selected from the 2011 Clear the Smoke Photo Project, created to raise awareness about the effects of tobacco on Hawaii's people through the lens of photography.
